Oh cool. So you want to go from 3 turns… down to two. Get rid of technical stuff and add more straightline burnouts. Make it more difficult for the guys with less power and easier for the big budget teams with huge power who already always win everything. Yeah, who needs skill when you got POWER. This is totally what is cool about drifting.
…fuck formula D.
Bros before pros x Grassroots is greater x Keep drifting fun x Bring back the soul

I keep seeing photos of the course and the glorified captions that people are writing have me laughing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so if you like the course then that’s you. I just don’t get how this is interesting or appealing in any way. This is just another failed recreation attempt of something that would be better left untouched.

America has made a complete mess of drifting. We have done to it, what we have done to Top Gear USA (yeah that show that no one watches because it sucks). It is not a matter of opinion but the true essence of the sport, which has pretty much been stripped away because they rather dumb it down, take skill out of it and have it be about budgets/power. There need to be classes or they need to have a limit on power, suspension, aero and etc. Such as if you want to have X amount of HP, they are going to limit your other options.  In terms of judging it needs to be less arbitrary and more objective. I don’t care if they have to get Tsuchiya to lay down some rules but there needs to be drastic changes.
Hell I’m down for drivers are allowed one specific chassis in which they can do whatever they want (within reason and power limitations). Take the car, and power out of the equation and let’s see who can really drive. I don’t think it’s fair or even enjoyable to watch a grassroots underpowered AE86 or S12/13/14/15 go up against fully sponsored scion bodied nascar (cough Tanner Foust cough) only to be completely and utterly beat on.
And this whole not allowing them to pass…….
